Durham Bishop's Transcripts
« on: Thursday 21 March 13 15:51 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I wonder if someone could give me some advice.

I'm looking for the Williamson family, i.e. : -

Ann B: 1841
Mary B: 1842
Jacob B: 1846
Margaret B: 1851
Robert B: 1854.

Now, according to the census they were born in Earsdon/Holywell. (On other records it says Tynemouth).  Their parents (Ralph and Margaret Barrass) lived in West Holywell Colliery.  I've found their older siblings in the Earsdon Baptism Parish Records (Durham Bishop's Transcripts), but I  can't find the above.  I have also trailed through the Tynemouth Baptism records (Durham Bishop's Transcripts) to no avail.

Could anyone suggest which other areas I could try.

Thanks
Mo

Thanks Diddy

Hadn't thought about South Shields.  That's brilliant.

Thanks again

Hi Briann1

Thanks for the info, although I do already have these.  However, I have Robert born 1854 not 1851 so maybe that is a place to look.

Thanks again.

Hi Briann1

That is brilliant.  It is exactly what I have been looking for.  I'm thrilled!  I had found a marriage for a Ralph Williamson and an Isabella Wilkinson in Earsdon and wondered if they were connected and now I know.

Thank you so much.

Mo
