Long Lost Cousins
« on: Friday 22 March 13 14:23 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help m find these, my long lost cousins??
Mary Rosina Smyth, born 1913, Belfast
Teresa Smyth, born 1919, Belfast
Winifred Almina Smyth, born 1922, Belfast
Alice Ethna Smyth, born Belfast 1924, Belfast
Father Patrick Smyth, Spirit Grocer, mother Elizabeth (Lizzie Cully)
Patrick and Elizabeth were married in St. Peter's R.C., Belfast

Because of their birth dates, I can't find who they married, and I know that at least 2 of them married.

In hope

Unfortunately the dates are recent enough that you are unlikely to find marriages online. It's possibly some of those people could still be living so if anyone can provide more information it would best be sent by PM rather than posting on the topic.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Yes Aghadowey, I realise that and hope that someone will just recognise the names and get in touch with me.

You might just have some luck posting on a surname interests forum - e.g. rootsweb?

Hello Rosemary Joan.

There is a Belfast forum where you could try posting.

Ho Rosemary, My two sisters of roughly the age of the younger girls, married in England. so I looked  at http://freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
Mary Rosina Smyth, the nearest was a Rosina marrying 1954
Teresa Smyth, there are several marriages 1949 - 1958 onwards, one in Liverpool
Winifred Almina Smyth none found in England
Alice Ethna Smyth, only two, neither for an Alice but just for Ethna  1942 for an Ethna JA and an Ethna 1957
Good luck JimG
