Daniel TILLEY: 1806 Lubenham

I'm trying to trace the lineage of a Daniel Tilley born in Lubenham, Market Harborough about 1806. He appears in the 1851 census as a miller and baker with a wife, Ann and 9 children.
Basically can he be traced back to the Tilleys of Market Harborough - we believe a Joseph Tilley was appointed Master of the Union Workhouse in 1793 (that would be a "beautiful" and convenient tie in!!!) - the Tilleys of Smeeton Westerby (last known there was a Robert Tilley, died 1827) or - the Tilleys of Thorpe Langton. The three lines mentioned all appear to trace back to a Daniel Tilley about 1607
Many thanks
Alan

Thanks for that.
There is a Thomas Tilley (b abt 1786 - presumably his father) living with Daniel at the time of the 1841 census. I've glanced at Ancestry (why, I wonder) for this name combination to receive a very garbled feedback.

The Thomas Tilley burial of 1850 would fit with him being "my" Daniel's father. He appears on the 1841 census but not the 1851 census. That would also probably fit with the marriage of Thomas Tilley and Mary Hatfield. The burial records would suggest a d.o.b. for Thomas at 1791.
Daniel's son of particular interest to me is William (b 1835). I have a feeling that he married a Sarah Ann Spriggs (also b 1835) in M Harbro' JFM 1857. He followed the family occupation as a miller. What is intriguing is that he suddenly appears in the middle of my Tilley research in the neighbouring Welland Valley - takes over the village bakehouse in 1881, has a yard named after him - and then disappears again by 1891.
Cheers Alan
