Baptism of Thomas Whetton

I have for several years been unable to find the baptism of Thomas Whetton.  He married Esther Haslam on the 30th June 1794 at Old Brampton, Derbyshire. The birth could be about 1770 or possibly earlier and it doesn't help with not knowing which parish he was born in either.  Any help will be much appreciated. ???

I’ve checked my transcripts for  Alfreton, Ashover, Ault Hucknall, Bakewell, Baslow, Beeley, Darley, Edensor, Eyam, Matlock, Morton, North Wingfield, Old Brampton, Shirland and South Wingfield for Wetton and Whetton. Only found one possible candidate in Shirland -
Thomas Whetton baptised  28/11/1773 parents Joshua and Rebecca
Quite a number of Whettons in Shirland.
