Orme
« on: Tuesday 16 April 13 13:18 BST (UK) »
Sadly, my aunty died recently, she was married to Jack Derek Orme, he died 2003. She let me have some family photo's a few yeas ago to scan which I had to return but unfortunately they are nowhere to be found now, but from the box of photo's that were found, there is a baptism certificate for William Henry Orme 20 October 1891 Rycroft Congregational Sunday School, Walsall; I believe they are mainly photo's of the Orme family and some have connections to possibly Michigan by some of the notes on the back.

I am going to look at this side of the family and as Jack's marriage was in Leicester and I don't have a record of his parents as yet, was wondering if William Henry struck a chord with any Orme researchers.

Many thanks
Elaine

Thanks JJ, realised this was the only note I had left to myself ... William H :-\

There is a photo of Uncle Jack with ?parents and the gentleman in the few I have, seems to figure a lot and I do believe Ellen is Nellie in them and of course I now recognise the said gentleman in a wedding photo where my mum was bridesmaid, never started a bit of research this way and have had a great time looking through the pics

Have worked it out, William Henry Orme married Susannah Spink, her sister fanny went to America, names have begun to match the back of photos and even a wedding card for this country ties in with a brother. Feeling very chuffed
