He was my wife's Grandfather and I have ordered his Marriage Cert - Jul/Sep 1906 - but in the meantime I wondered if anyone here is also researching him? I've found a couple of things on Ancestry including him sailing to Australia and living in South London in the 1920s on the Electoral Registers, and Googling gave me a number of hits to Australian newspapers in 1926 detailing his performances.
I believe his first wife died either in childbirth or he left her and re-married.
