That address would be Callander Road in the village of Strathyre, which is in Balquidder Parish?

Strathyre (a very small village) is 4 miles south from me and 9 miles north of Callander, 'Callander Road' is indeed the main and only road (A84) in the village.  Killin is 11 miles north of Strathyre off the continuation of A84 at Lochearnhead onto A85 (branch off A85 right at Lix Toll onto the road to Aberfeldy).

Can you give further details on Peter junior please?  For example do you have a death certificate which gives his parents as Peter/Christina and if so what is Christina's maiden/nee name?

Also date and place of the marriage of Peter Campbell jnr to Mary.

I'm not finding a birth or marriage for them on Scotlandspeople http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/welcome.aspx  had you searched SP it is the most correct source?

I find them on Scotlandspeople in 1861 census Balquidder, then possibly 1851 census Crieff and 1841 Kenmore looks like age (1851/61) 42 & 52 respectively

What religion did they practise in NZ?  If they were Catholic Peter could have been christened Patrick, the names were interchangeable in Scotland, I have such incidences in my own family.

If you could list the children of the marriage, where and when born etc, we may get a link to the family.

I have Peter Campbell and Mary (ms Campbell) married 10 July 1834 (OPR Marriages 360/00 0040 0213 Kenmore). Peter left East India Docks, London on the 7th June 1865 and arrived at Lyttelton, New Zealand on "Tudor" , a 1786 ton ship, 24 September 1865 with his wife, aged 53 and 6 of his children, (COLIN 17, JOHN 15, MARY 13, MARGARET 11, ISABELLA 9 and CHRISTINA 29) son-in-law (Peter 29) and 1 grand child (ISABELLA 9months) . Also on board the TUDOR listed apart from the rest were daughter ELIZABETH and her husband ROBERT FERGUSON and their daughter JANET BRUCE.
Regarding Duncan: From Peter's will filed in the Christchurch Court on 7 August 1885 describing how his properties were to be divided up it stated the following: "Colombo Road, Sydenham to Elvi Campbell, widow of son Duncan Campbell who died in Russia ca 1883."
