Coach Makers/Smiths?

Hello :)
I'm trying to trace any coach maker or coach smiths in manchester or other areas in Lancashire from around 1750-1850, give or take a few years.
If you guys find any, please let me know :)

Also, was it common to be both? Or to switch between the trades?

My ancestor did both
And he was a policeman,I guess he was very busy!
