th accident happened 1 july 1906, involving a boat train, basically it went thro Salisbury at an excessive speed and was derailed. the driver, fireman and 24 of the 43 passengers were killed, also the driver and fireman of another train waiting in Salisbury station.
the passengers were nearly all from an ocean liner that had called at Plymouth.

the report does not seem to be available online, but I would think that it was widely reported in newspapers at the time, maybe someone with access could look these up for you.

For anyone interested in descriptions of this accident and the subsequent investigation, they can be found in the following books:
Historic Railway Disasters by O S Nock
Red For Danger by L T C Rolt
Both concentrate on the causes of the accident and safety improvements that resulted from the investigation, rather than the casualties, but they provide a concise explanation in a few pages, which would be much easier reading than wading through the investigation report.
