Oh, that sounds promising for you!

Is this a post you from her that you have seen on Rootschat?

Hello Monical.   Someone on Ancestry told me about a lady who lives in Falkirk who knows alot about the Bellamy family. I know the womens name, but not sure I should put a living persons name on this site. I don't know if Falkirk has a Library but I thought they might have an Electoral Register so I could find her address.  Thanks Sue   (Bellamy)    :D

Hi Sue

Sorry, when you mentioned someone, I thought she was a RootsChat member. You are right in that we mustn't mention people's names here on the open forum to protect their privacy etc.

Good luck in making the connection  :)

Sorry if I'm suggesting things you've already thought of:

have you tried surname interests link at the foot of the page to identify rootschatters who may be able to help?

if lady is member of local family history soc they may be able to pass a message on to her (Falkirk is covered by Central Scotland FHS http://www.csfhs.org.uk)
Unfortunately these names don't show up in members' interests pages, so it may be unlikely.

if you think there is an on-line version of this lady's tree, you might try to find it on the popular family history sites and contact her through one that she uses

you might also try to see if she has a presence on any of the common social networking sites or try to find address or phone number via one of the many sites offering such services (some at a cost, obviously)

Good luck!

Sandy
