Cemetaries in Swansea

My Great Uncle I believe died in 1936.  He lived in Swansea (Fleet Street) and was CofE.  What cemetaries would he likely to have been buried in.  Is Morriston a possibilty? or is it too far from the city centre??

P.S. On a more personal note does anyone from Swansea know the plot location for Pete Ham (recently given a blue plaque at the Swansea Railway Stn.) at Morriston Cemy and also how difficult is it to go from City Centre to the Cemy using public transport?

It's easy getting from the city to Morrison cem via bus ( head to the Swansea quadrant/bus station).

number 36 bus - but check when you get to the quadrant of course just in case numbers have changed http://www.swansea.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=27428

Morriston isn't too far, but he could be any for swansea Cwmgelli Cemetery, Danygraig cem
  Swansea cemetery department can search the Municipal cems for him ( for a fee of 5 pounds) if that makes it a bit easier for you.  http://www.swansea.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=923. The form is on the right hand side  of the page  under downloads.
               
Peter Ham , the Musician? If so, he was cremated .

Hi, What a coincident!!
After a 'lay-off' of many weeks of family research and not even visiting this bulletin board, this morning I read this thread of messages and by sheer chance this afternoon my wife and I visit Morriston Cemetery.  Whilst I was off picking-up 'blown-about' flower wrappings, my wife draws my attention to a memorial we had not previously seen at location W15 which is the south east corner of area "W" on this cemetery plan
Be aware:
1) this plan (could be considered to be) upside-down, with North being at the bottom of the plan]
2) there are 15 graves in each row, numbered west to east; with row 1 being at the south of the area.

I also checked for a possible report of the funeral in the 2/3 editions following the funeral on the 29th - but nothing.

So frustrating - no mention of burial location but hope the proposed visit to this neck of the woods goes well. Re "hopefully no rain", as a gardner I would welcome a drop of the wet stuff at the moment, despite your impending visit. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't rain every day in Abertawe.
