Wiltshire Burial
« on: Tuesday 07 May 13 16:13 BST (UK) »
hi

i'm looking for the burial of Thomas Perry bn 1811 shrewton (as perrior) died 24 sep 1889 at Maryport st, devizes.  Death index says Thomas Perry aged 79, devizes district.  His wife was called Elizabeth and died in 1883 in Sussex.
The devizes clerk has checked devizes cemetery with no luck.  They recommended i try the baptist chapel at Maryport street, as we know he had baptist links, but i can't get a reply from them.  His censuses showed he had some time in Charlton st peter, Rowde, dorset, sussex and his probate said formerly of Bournemouth. If i can rule wiltshire out that would help.

Appreciate any help thanks
Perry- wilts, sussex and hants
Bonieface- sussex
Maslen- Wilts
Barnett- Hants

I know it is a very long time since the OP has been on here but just thought I’d mention that Thomas Perry was buried at The New Baptist chapel Sheep Street Devizes on 27 Sep 1889.

I came across this post as I was trying to find out if there are any headstones at the Old Baptist Chapel Maryport Street Devizes as I have ancestors buried there.  Does anyone happen to know?
