Thanks all

I've stumbled across quite a bit for James Granfield Chambers over the years but as he never figured in my tree largely ignored it all (as you do), now just to get that cert and fingers crossed the parents fathers names will be what I hope to see.

Assuming it does then i've got 4 Chambers names at Wragby in a very small time frame, either two different lines or just a single one, as yet I can't tell for sure but both use similiar names for the kids so who knows, I would imagine they are connected either as siblings or cousins.

Assuming the cert tells me what I want to see the bride of the 1935 marriage traces back to John/Ann Chambers (married Langton by Wragby 1825), Ann bapt Langton 1797, John born Tattershall or Wragby c1800.

The groom goes back to George Chambers/Sophia Elphin, m.11th Feb 1822 at Wragby. Possible bapt of George 27 Jan 1796, Wragby, son of Henry Chambers and Frances.

Nothing is proved just yet but two families with the same surname, baptisms close both in terms of time and area, I would be more suprised to find they weren't connected somehow, maybe it's a generation or two away, maybe it's a lot closer but all I can do is get the cert for a start and take it from there.

They share so many names for the children too, including middle names at times, (usually Henry) based on some sketchy households I've put together, both lots also appear on Newland Street West and Hungate during census years too which is a pain in the bum at times but this line always has been.
