Kingston Lisle Look up Please
« on: Sunday 19 May 13 23:08 BST (UK) »
I'm really hoping that a kind person would look up the baptism for Emily Butler 1883 to see if her father's name is given and/or for the marriage of Ann Butler & Henry Griffin 1890 also K Lisle. I'm interested in fathers' and witnesses names.

Barefoot, Barley, Bedborough, Benett, Blandy, Brown, Clements, Doucett, Fisher, Franklin, Goodchild, Greenwood, Heath, Horwood, Osmond, Westbury: Berks/Berks and Wilts.

Woodhouse: Montgomeryshire

Hi

To narrow any search - you need to include the quarter in which the birth/ marriage took place

Per freebmd - the marriage was in the March qtr 1890

The birth was in the June qtr 1883
Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk
Carlin (Ireland & Liverpool) Doughty & Wright (Liverpool) Dick & Park (Scotland & Liverpool)

As CaroleW has listed,  this is the marriage as requested;

                Ann Butler, 26, domestic servant, otp, d/o JohnX Lab
wits; Henry (x) Fowler, Elisabeth Fowler

Hope this helps.

Just to add in case its needed;
Baptism;
25-1-1880 Mary Evelyn Butler d/o Ann Maria - single woman

also this baptism;

Thank you so much Alan & Carole,

I was hoping that this Ann would turn out to  be my gt grandmother who went off the grid in the mid 1880s. Her birth date more or less matched, wed a man named Butler in 1883 was widowed but could have had a child then had she been pregnant at the wedding. So much fitted, I got really excited thinking I'd finally found my Ann Butler. Maybe she'd moved to KL then put it as her place of birth on the census as a matter of convenience ( the whole family had been fluid about such things) but sadly no. none of the names you've given me fit at all, so, with that possibility crossed off the list, it's back to the drawing board :'(
