was wondering if anyone had any directories that covered Penge please.
I now know that my family owned four houses in one road, would love to know more - any advise or help would be great.
Amos family
5, 7, 9 and 11 Morland Road, Penge, Beckenham
Catherine Amos seems to be the main person (born 1844 - d 1935)
Ellis lived there in 1917 (her brother)
but I also know that her sister Mary apparently lived there, followed by her neices Catherine, Eleanor and at some stage Annie
Id love to know (if at all possible) how they managed to own that amount of houses in same street. Who these properties belonged to firstly.
and any other information about them.
would love some help on this please.
as would like to tell my elderly father - as he remembers some of these relatives but is getting rather muddled.
