West Dereham Burials?
« on: Tuesday 21 May 13 07:42 BST (UK) »
Good morning, I'm trying to find the burial place of my ancestor JANE WING.
In 1891 she was living in West Dereham on parish relief. She was admitted to Downham Union Workhouse where she died in 1892 (JAS).
I assume she would have been buried in her parish church??? Unfortunately I can't find any West Dereham transcripts.
I would be most grateful for any help.
Thank you,
Latina

Norfolk is exceptionally difficult at the best of times....> genuki link > http://www.origins.org.uk/genuki/NFK/places/s/stoke_ferry/

the cemeteries link may assist.....

comes under Downham in bmd

there was a lot of merging of parts of this area of Norfolk, and any surviving registers may in fact be in the Archives.....   or the actual registry office......  the other method of finding would be to contact Norfolk FH Society and see if work was done.

sorry cannot be of further assistance but will make other enquiries to status of films if there were any

fusion ::)
