I am trying to find where the above John Robson was on the 1841 census, it reads like this
Pemberton St, Hetton Le Hole,
Eleanor Robson aged 30
Robert aged 13
Mary Ann aged 9
Elizabeth aged 8
Douglas aged 5
John aged 1
father not living with family.

1851 Neasham Sq, Sunderland
John Robson born Corbridge aged 46
Eleanor born Byker aged 40
John aged 11 born Sunderland
Margaret aged 10 born Sunderland
Armstrong aged 8 born Hetton
Thomas aged 4 months born Sunderland

I would like to see where John Snr was living during the 1841 Census.

What was John's occupation in 1851?

The 1841 does not show birthplaces and ages were rounded down so an entry can really only be found by downloading all entries for his name and checking the occupation.

Have you tried Northumberland

in 1851 he said he was an engine wright, however on the birth registrations of his children he was a joiner.
