Hi, I posted a request on Scottish roots chat re the above my 4xgreatgrandparents,who when they applied for poor relief in Paisley Scotland on 13/8/1851 and they stated that they had been in Quebec from 1848-1851,at which time the following family members were living with them in Paisley,Janet,William and Hugh,a rootschatter suggested that they maybe went with children to Canada as the were aged 78 and 77 in 1851. Other children they had were Andrew born @1817,Christian@1804,James@1802,Cunningham@1819. Just wondering if anyone has any of these people in their lineage.

Further to my request for information I have discovered that James and Janet were with their sons Andrew born 5/7/1813 who was working on boats in Quebec in 1851,Son Robert born 6/9/1819 was working as a carpenter in Quebec in 1851. Does anyone have these two gentlemen in their family trees.?
