1921 census
« on: Saturday 01 June 13 12:30 BST (UK) »
Now that Statistics Canada has turned over the data to Library and Archives Canada is it too much to hope that we will be able to have free access to info by years end? Wish LAC were more forthcoming.

I think it needs to be microfilmed and transcribed still, doesn't it? If so, that will take a while longer before it will be searchable.

From my understanding, it was microfilmed back in the 50's.  LAC will digitize it and I believe family search will be given the job of indexing it.

I'm sure once it's digitized, it will be on the LAC site, like other census, it just won't be indexed.
