Lancashire or France

Not sure where to post this question!  I'm trying to trace my husbands father's origins.  He was Harry Robert Lock born 22 June 1921.  The story goes that his mother was French but we are not sure if he was born in France or Lancashire and we have no name for his mother who believe died young.  He lived in France as a child.  His father was George Henry Lock remarried.
Anyone throw any light on this for me?

There's a record of a possible sibling Franck born to Georges Henry Lock of Hull and Elizabeth Ann Watson at Louvroil in northern France in 1925 (30 November)

Thanks very much to you both for all that information.  The only additional information I have is that George's second wife was called Mary (although there was a doubt that they were married).  It looks like Dad's mother wasn't French afterall (they name doesn't sound French)!!  They must have just lived in France for a while.

The French birth record for Frank/Franck mentions that George Henry Lock was from Hull.

The 1891 census has a George H Lock aged 1, born Hull, son of George H Lock who is a minister in the New Jerusalem Church.

"The infant son of the Rev. G. H. Lock was baptized on Sunday, Feb. 2nd, by Mr. T. R Osgerby, one of the deacons of the Hull Society."- Morning Light, March 8th, 1890. "
