Richard (died 1872)and Margaret (died 1868) Galbraith
« on: Sunday 09 June 13 09:18 BST (UK) »
Hello.  I am looking for any information from possible relatives of Richard and Margaret Galbraith. Margaret was  formerly Smith or Smyth. They lived around Kilbirnie from  1841 or before. I believe they were born in Ireland. They had Elizabeth, Margaret, Thomas and Richard. Richard married Janet Barber they were my 2nd great grandparents. I would love to hear from anyone related to the brothers and sisters.

yes Richard is in the 1841,1851, 1861 and 1871 scotland census . Margaret is there until 1861 then she died in 1868. I have the death registrations for them. They were supposedly born in Ireland but as yet I havenot been able to prove their births either in scotland or ireland. The other children seem elusive at present and I have only managed to trace son Richard who married Janet Barber. I was hoping to track down the other children and their ancestors as they might lead  me to finding the births and marriage of Richard and Margaret
