Dear Listers,

Could some kind person please help me decipher the word after Saint Anns in the attached will?
The words after the unidentified word say "but now of Bath, England." The Ashmeades have origins in Gloucestershire.

Many thanks,

Sue

It almost looks like Jamaica!  ??? Could it be St Ann's parish in Jamaica?

Thank you. Yes! I had seen Ashmeades who had lived in Jamiaica and wondered if they were mine.

Thanks again,

Regards,

Sue

Kay

Thank you  Kay, they may well be connected as there is a Thomas born to the same parents on FamilySearch with a possible birth I found for Henry (Henry's age matches the genforum message also). Possibly two generations in two days! It is great having resources like Rootschat to break through brick walls.

Thanks,

Sue
