There is a possibility he died in Canada arond 1950 ?? ???
His two sisters Robina Curran & Christina Ewing plus a brother George Foreman Smith had all emigrated to Canada, I have info on these three persons but can find nothing at all on Edward, as you can imagine looking for a SMITH is like looking for a needle in a haystack...hoping that someone out there can give me a hand please as am getting cross eyed going through Ancestry records  :o
All help appreciated,
Regards Patvp

Edward Hall Smith travelled to Canada on the Montnairn arriving 25 april 1926.  He was going to his sister, robina Curran of 152 Cedar St. S. Timmins, Ontario.  Edward's wife and son were to follow - they staying at 24 Park St. Tillicoultry.

Annie, 21, b. Stock on Tees and son George Foreman, 2 b. Tilicoulty travelled to Canada on the Regina arriving 07 May 1927.  They were joining Edward in Timmins.  Annie's sister, Mrs. Paterson of 24 Park St. Tilicoulty was given as her nearest British contact.

Hi cosmac - Thank you so much for that info, had not been able to find  ;D so it has led me down other avenues... Looks like Annie Hall returned to Scotland for a visit..not sure when  ??? as I found her in 1931 departure on the "Duchess of York" destination Quebec...travelling with George & Edward (sons) also an added son Alexander McEwan Meiklejohn Smith born in Alva in 1929. Am not sure what happened to them all  ??? as am finding Ancestry records a bit difficult..there are a million Smith's..took me three hours yesterday to find the above info  ;D Any hints as to how I can find out what happened to them.
Once again thank you so much
Regards Patvp
