His birth

From freebmd - so hopefully you have this - but you have given no year or place of birth in your post.

What makes you say he was Irish? What info do you have suggesting that?

Death

Jun 1932
Nuneaton ref 6d 611

Leonard R Patrick
Age 24

So it is looking like the correct place.

His birth is on freebmd too - jul/aug/sep 1907, Market Bosworth (tnats Leicestershire) Leonard Raymond Patrick

Did you want the 1901 details? Did you find Leonard Emmanuels marriage on freebmd?

Have a look at the guides on the Beginers board on here, that will give you some useful starters.

FreeBMD is a site where you can look at indexes for Birth Marriage and death registrations after 1837 (which was when Civil registration began)
Censuses are useful sources, taken every 10 years. Those available to view are 1841( which only has limited info), 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911.

All are available on various subscription sites. 1881 is available free.
We are unable to do look ups for 1911, due to copyright restrictions.
some subscription sites allow you to buy a few credits if you just want to look at one or two things.
Hopè this helps.

I'll find that 1901 and give you the details now, and see what else I can find. But if I am on thge right track, it looks as if he didnt come from Ireland, even if he lived there at some time in his life
