lionel riddle robson b1826 i have his brother as john robson b1824
and parents william robson 1772 and sara selby 1788 a lot of people have sara coming from corbridge which i aint sure about
has anyone any info on this family it would be a great help

when did they marry,and where,
38 isn't old to be having  a baby ,
are they in the 1841 census,?
when did she die and where,?
have you checked for a marriage allegation,?

william and sara married 1808 stamfordham
john robson (son) was born bingfield
lionel riddle was born newburn
there is some trees that have her maiden name as a robson as well i just cant get my head around it which isnt unusual lol

Thomas Hunter and his wife Sarah Selby have their first daughter in  Stamfordham 1801
before they move to Ponteland,Thomas Hunter and Sarah Selby married ,Newburn May 1795,
she is from Hebbron,

If he married 1808 there must be children before 1824,
earlier baptisms will give mothers surname,I hope,

Abode Moor House
2nd daughter of William a farmer
born 24th Jan 1810
mother is Sarah Robson,of Corbridge
This may be where they are getting the information that the mother was also a Robson,

Mary is their first daughter baptised July 1808,

i have been hunting for info on this lady sara selby/robson and have came across a selby robson b1754 northumberland isit possible that this saras father that could be why everyones trees are different  ???

I have William Robson married to Sarah Robson in 1808 at Stamfordham.  I wondered where you got her name as Selby.  They had several children.  Three were the ones you have.  William and Lionel Riddell and also John who married Barbara Marshall.  An elder sister was Jane - my gg grandmother.
