Methodist burials Wolverhampton

Hi, One branch of my tree were Methodists and through the Wolverhampton Index site I have found all their marriages and baptisms at either Monmore Green Primitive Methodist Church or Priestfields Primitive Methodist Church but I cannot locate any burials. I have checked the Merridale registers and not one of them is buried there  nor are any of the family mentioned on the brief transcription of Methodist burials on the site (I'm talking 1860 -1920 ish).

Any ideas where they would have been buried?

I dont think a lot of the Methodist churches had burial sites so maybe they were buried in other churchyards. I know some of mine were buried in Merridale Cemetery

Post a few names and we will have a look for them

I agree with willow, where did they live?  Bilston cemetery is very large so that may be a possibility, I think it started from mid 1800's. Some names and areas would help us.

Thanks for the replies guys. It never even occurred to me to try bilston cemetery lol I looked through the merridale ones but not one if mine was buried there (from this family, other branches r there).
It's the ward family. Dad noah b. 1844, mom Mary Ann and the kids were Noah b.1866, Maria b.1868 (but married and became a Davies), benjamin b.1871, Enoch b.1873 Mary Ann b.1877 and George Henry b.1881. Now they all married and their own little ward kids but what makes it easier to identify them was that from about 1890 ish they all lives in fleece street, ettingshall. (1911 sees them all doors away from each other).

On FreeREG there is a Noah Ward buried 27.5.1873 Bilston Cemetery aged 48 also a Noah aged 18m buried 14.5.1874

Found FreeREG covers a bit wider area that the Wolverhampton Archives site

Well Ettingshall is just up the road from Bilston Cemetery so I think its a good chance they are there

Will keep my eyes open at bilston cem as I have to go back there . I'm looking for a grave for someone. I do a wide range of voluntary work to do with family history and do transcribe for freereg . I took some gravestone photos whilst in bilston cem whilst looking and am going to upload/send to gravestonehotos.com at some point. I'll see if any ward ones are there, i'll try and photograph them if seen. It is a massive cem though so it's hard to just spot one.
