Bertie Howe married Winifred Coton Solihull 1916

Hi,
I'm looking for any information on Bertie Peter Howe, b 1879 in Suffolk & married Winifred Coton in 1916. They then lived in Lugtrout Lane Solihull. Bertie was my great grandmother's brother & I can find very little info on him after he moved to Solihull when he was medically discharged from the army.
Can any one help please?

To start you off - this looks like the probate for Bertie :

Probate : 20th July 1936
Howe, Peter Bertie of Coton House Lodge Churchover, Warwickshire, died 27th April 1936. Administration (with Will) London 20th July to Winifred Howe, widow.
Effects : £416 18s 8d

Marriage registration gives his name as Peter B Howe; could this death registration be him?

Probate : 1st September 1939
Howe, Winifred of 24 Wherrets Well-Lane Elmdon Heath Solihull, Warwickshire widow died 8th July 1939 at 1 Lode-Lane Solihull. Administration Birmingham 1st September to Ernest Coton agricultural labourer.
Effects : £718 0s 7d

Many thanks for all your replies. All very interesting. I'm just confused that I believed Winifred was born in 1896 so think she wouldn't have been 62 in 1939. Any ideas? Also can't find Bertie in 1911 census but may not have been in Warks then. Anybody seen any children, or ideas of what Bertie did when he left the army?

On the latest census there's this Winifred Coton, age 15 :

The one I believe to be the Winifred Howe who died in 1939 - is living with her parents and brother Ernest, in 1891 :
