Thanks,yes my interest in this Elizabeth came from her being next door in 1861 and 1871 to an Ann Hanmer.

Now for whatever reason I don't believe we can take this Ann's birth details at face value from these entries.I believe she is the Ann Hanmer I have in my Tree born in Overton in 1801,daughter of John and Mary Hanmer my Greatx3-Grandparents!

The death entry for Ann Hanmer in 1871 also suggests a birth of c 1801.

Well, the address on the burial record is the same as the one on the 1871 census - Felin Puleston. Also, the last col on that census might explain her age differences.

Thanks,yes as for the last column in 1871,its why I said charitably perhaps;for whatever reason!Perhaps other members of her family gave her age for the death record?

I've not found her on the 1851 yet - have you got a ref?  There's one born 1783 but she's a widow

I can't find her in 1851.Only have back in Overton in 1841 seemingly attached to the family of a Samuel Beddow.Interestingly perhaps her sister Elizabeth was to marry a James Beddow and is to be found from 1851 living in Marchwiel.
