I am researching an Elizabeth Smith born in Deeping St James.

I have a burial record that states that an Elizabeth Baker was buried on 28 December 1828 aged 46 years.
On the record it states that she was born in 1782.
She married a William Baker on 14 January 1813.
There is also a headstone in Deeping St James to say that Elizabeth Baker, the wife of William Baker, died aged 46 years .... the death year not decipherable.

The only Elizabeth Smith I have located was christened on the 14 August 1775.
Her parents are stated as Hope Smith and his wife Margaret and they went on to have an additional 8 children.

A discrepancy of some 7 years seems to be too large i.e 1775 to 1782, so are these different people?

All comments appreciate :-)
