Are there any online baptism records. *COMPLETED*

Hi, I am just wondering, are there any online records for baptisms? I am looking for the baptisms of 2 individuals,
Robert Ridsdale b- 11-08-1928
The parents were married at the parish church in Owston Ferry on 26Th November 1924 so I am assuming that at least the daughter was born in that area. (I know I should not assume anything  )
Any suggestions or help would be very much appreciated.

Both births are on FreeBMD - registered in Thorne district - mmn Ramsey.

Is it actually christenings you are looking for rather than births?

Is there anything specific you are looking for?

Hi yes, he is still living, hence no mention in my original post, however I have his details in another area.

In that case I don't know if there are any lists of baptisms online. Just guessing here, but shouldn't think there would be any - I doubt that they would be too valuable family historywise (hence not a priority to put online) especially if you are able to purchase the birth certificate which would contain much more useful information.

Are you sure they were christened? I suppose if you knew their religion and their local church, perhaps the church may have records going back to that era? 

Are you looking for sponsors or godparents?

Hi Ruskie, many thanks for your time,I am looking basically for where the family were living between 1924 and 1931, I found the baptism of the later son (not mentioned) at St Oswald's open day at Kirk Sandall Doncaster on Saturday and this had the place of abode on it for the family, however there was no baptism record for the earlier children born 1925 and 1928.
I will send for the birth certificate of Robert and hopefully that will give me an address.

Buying the birth certificate/s of the earlier child/ren is a good idea, which is likely to give you a home address.

Not knowing where a family lived between 1924 and 1931, only 7 years, isn't too long really. 

If you are looking for addresses, have you considered electoral rolls or post office directories? Might they have had a telephone?

Hi Ruskie, I got the birth certificate for Robert and the place of birth is indeed shown, 
There was I thinking he was probably born at Rainsbut Farm Crowle, Lincolnshire, and he was actually born at Manor Farm at Althorpe in Lincolnshire  anyway that narrows the search down regarding the baptism, many thanks again for your help and as always my very best regards,
