HELP NEEDED PLEASE - Where is Easton East Yorkshire
« on: Monday 13 June 05 00:39 BST (UK) »

Is there any kind sole who could help please.
I am trying to find a town or village called Easton.
According to the 1861 census James Whincup/Wincup was born in Easton in 1798.

I would like to know exactly where Easton is located together with any details as to which Parish/Church would be likely to hold any baptism details.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Genuki has a lot of information.  Easton is in Bridlington Parish and here is a link of information of where to get more information. Most are help at the East Yorkshire Record Office in Beverly.  They have archives that are very helpful and the East Yorkshire Family History Society.  Also a great place to get records.
