You say -

Wife: Mary Alice BUGG (ref #2301)

Born: Abt. 1825 in: Fulbeck, Lincolnshire, England
Source: 1851 England census - cm
Died: Bef. 1925 in: possibly Lincolnshire, England

Father: George BUGG
Mother: Alice BRADLEY

If you look at the "Newark spreadsheet" here - http://mi.lincolnshiremarriages.org.uk/

you'll see the father of Mary Alice named as William BUGG

Marriage 4 Nov 1851 at Fulbeck

Baptism register here (top left) http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/RecordDisplayTranscript.aspx?oid=629858&iid=264636

A marriage certificate will not normally mention mother's names.  :-\

Newark registration district covers Fulbeck.  See here:

http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/newark.html

A marriage is always registered in the district in which it took place - no getting round that.

I presume you have noted that William SCOTT was born in Syston.  There was a marriage in that village to an Ann HALL - a widow - on 26 Feb 1828 http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/RecordDisplayTranscript.aspx?oid=616226&iid=230514

thanks everyone for your help.

couldn't figure out how to work the web site that had the MARRIAGE Certificate on it, but managed to get the info and YOU helped to PROVE that Ann Hall was a WIDOW.

Now I need some help finding her MAIDEN NAME...

Any suggestions for this.

so far I have tried familysearch.org...searched for Anns that married Hall between 1813 and 1827 in Lincolnshire, England.
I got 25 possibles....unfortunately none with the Ayscough last name
and none married in or around Syston.....

Will see IF I can narrow it down from this list, but IF I find the correct one off there is blows the theory that her last name was Ayscough.

Also having trouble of WHERE to look since the marriage would be between 1813 and 1827....going by the fact that she remarried in 1828....and was a widow.
the marriages for Lincolnshire don't start until 1837...so no help there

It seems the options are limited...well in my MIND they are...again open to suggestions.

thanks once again....
