Hi there,

I live not far from this cemetery, it is really quite overgrown and in a bit of a sorry state for the most part. Most headstones are still standing, but they've not been very well looked after.
Also, it really isn't all that big, it wouldn't take long to wander round and look at all the headstones, definitely less than an hour.
If you have any more information regarding plot numbers etc. i'd be more than happy to have a walk through and see if there is anything to take a picture of for you; I have great grandparents in there too :)

Hi,

There are memorial inscriptions for St Cross by the MLFHS, available on CD. I think these are the ones mentioned on the manmates forum

I smiled at this response on the ManMates site re collecting the MIs:
" we hope to complete every one in a single weekend"

We said exactly the same thing in 2011 about Manchester General Cemetery! It does take a bit longer than you think...
