It appears to be a list of ships on which he served, with dates. (I think, I'm not an expert but have seen similar lists before)

First column is a list of ship's names - they look straight forward enough?
Impregnable
Lion
Boscawen
Dido
Pembroke
Juno

Tyne (Cheerful)
Pembroke I
Tyne
Wallington
Heila

3rd column is his rank.
Columns at the end are the dates from & to. E.G. Impregnable from 8 Oct 02 to 18 Oct 02.
No idea about the other columns!

Some of these ships were training establishments, or shore bases.

E.G. HMS Impregnable was a training ship based at Devonport.
HMS Lion was another training ship.
HMS Boscawen was a shore establishment at Portland.
. . .
and so on.

KGarrad awesome, you have sharp eyes! I'm a novice, just adding my two-penny worth:

- On top right, printed / typed words "from" "to" and "for what"

- Dates in right column range between 1909 and 1919 (Could be 1902 as you say)

Of the ships you identified:

- Many active service and training & establishment ships named HMS Impregnable but none during 1909 - in 1902 there was one though

- HMS Lion (launched 1910) was a Lion-class battlecruiser

- Many RN ships named HMS Pembroke but none on service during the above decade; some were renamed Pembroke and served as base & depot ships: HMS Trent (1905 -17), HMS Nymphe (1917-20), HMS Achilles (1919-23)

- HMS Juno (1895-1920) Eclipse-class protected cruiser

- HMS Shannon (1906-22) was a Minotaur class armoured cruiser

On the 2nd line, his time on HMS Lion was dated 14 Oct 02 - so the time on Impregnable has to be before that! That's why I said 8 Oct 02 to 18 Oct 02.

Lines further down clearly show as 04, 05, 06 etc.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Impregnable  shows the former HMS Howe was renamed HMS Impregnable between 1885 and 1911.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Lion  shows the 1847 version, an 80 gun Second Rate, became a training ship after 1871. Sold for breaking up in 1905.
