Ward family Icklingham and briefly at East Meon / East Mawe Hampshire.

I am researching the Ward family from Icklingham . Have got back to Thomas Ward who married Margaret Prince 8/11/1825 Saint James Icklingham.
Thomas born abt 1801 and Margaret abt 1802 children Susan, Martha, John, Thomas, William and James. Believe Thomas' mother was Frances.

Willing to share info with interested parties.

I have no link to your family but found these on the Suffolk Burial Index that look like they may tie in.

James WARD buried 1 Jul 1793 Icklingham St James, infant son of John & Sarah (Christened the same day)
Sarah WARD age 26 buried 20 Dec 1796 Ick St Js, wife of John
James WARD buried 13 Jan 1803 Ick St Js, infant son of John & Frances
Frances Napkin WARD age 4 buried 10 Oct 1809 Ick St Js, daug of John & Frances
John WARD buried 17 Mar 1810 age 45, Ick St J

So it is possible that John was married twice? 

Thomas WARD christened 8 Feb 1801 Icklingham St James parents John & Frances

Garrard bn 23rd April baptised 6th November 1803
Frances Napkin born 16th April baptised 15th September 1805
Sarah privately baptised 23rd January received into church 2nd August 1807

Unfortunately I struggled to search the Icklingham registers as the dates which covered the potential marriages did not appear to be filmed.  I think the original registers are at Bury records office.
