and yes waste I have recently made contact with the owner of the Washington tree on ancestry but I'm really interested in the grey period before Francesco Lanni set up his ice-cream business in Worcester. The time he and his father roamed the Midlands as Organ grinders. Trouble is, when you start these family researches I seem to be drawn off down other avenues and get the urge to go into more of the social and commercial history of the times. Still, I guess that's what makes research so interesting.
