RICHARD WARD STUART
« on: Saturday 10 August 13 11:55 BST (UK) »
There has been a thread running on the 'Essex look up requests' in the U.K. for over a week now. This started with a search for family of a British airman killed in Holland in 1943. A Dutch researcher is planning to unveil a memorial to two of the crew killed in the Halifax bomber crash close to where he lives in The Netherlands.

The RAF aircraft unusually had a mixed crew of British, American and Canadian. Rob Lanting from The Netherlands wishes to find family of all of the crew.

If anyone would like to help would they please read the thread running thoroughly before acting and also make contact with Rootschat member Geoff Pain who has accumulated a great deal of information.

Unfortunately the link to the live radio programme where this search originated from has now expired but I am trying to get this re established.

An online family tree gives his parents as William J. Stuart & Maude Stuart and includes pictures of him and brother William J. Stuart in uniform.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
