The search is not going at all at present. I have left it temporarily for other research.
The Wrights of Northampton are not "my lot" as you put it: I am searching for a friend.
Stoke Goldington may be a possibility, but is there is any evidence of a Thomas Wright marrying
Hannah among your Wrights at the 1790s period?

Sorry, didnt mean to be disrespectful... I don't have those names in my tree but there are a lot of them in the area at the time, and in newport pagnell.

The group i researched went towards newport and surrounding villages from Stoke Goldington. Unfortunately i only have marriages from Bucks family history society for 1650-1750 of which 24 Wright weddings occurred.

On my Baptism list there is a Thomas Wright born in Ravenstone to William and Mary in 1775. Ravenstone is a little Bucks village between Northampton and Olney and is 14 miles from Kingsthorpe.

No apology needed, Mike. I realized it was just a harmless phrase. I was simply pointing out the  Wrights were not my family.
I don't think your Thomas born in 1775 in Ravenstone is the one I seek as I have worked back from his death date in 1834 aged 72 and have realized he was born in 1762, but where?
Good luck with your Wrights.
