Forster family Beamish
« on: Wednesday 14 August 13 20:08 BST (UK) »
I have posted a couple of years ago regarding this family. Unfortunately I am no further forward. I have literally hit a brick wall and dont know where to go next.
I am looking for any information anyone can give me on my grandfathers three brothers.
My grandfather was John Robert Forster, born in Beamish in 1891. He was the eldest son of Thomas Forster 1860 and Mary E Thompson 1870-1902. My grandfathers brothers were Thomas (Heatherington) Forster, bn 1894, Frederick born 1896 and Alfred born 1899. All boys were born in Beamish and I have found them living with their parents in the 1901 census. Family were living in Gateshead then. However due to the common surname and first names I cannot find trace of them any further.
As I say any help would be gratefully received.

I think maybe both parents died.

There is an Fred b 1896 Beamish living in Tynemouth as adopted son with John Cameron as head, 1911.

Alfred b 1899 born Beamish, as a nephew of Thomas Heatherington and living in Beamish.

John Robert b 1891 Beamish living as nephew to Mary Ann Allison, widow,  living in South Hylton

Death Mary Ellen Forster, age 32 died 1902 registered Gateshead could be the mother.

Thank you so much.I knew about John Robert as he was my grandfather but just presumed he had left home to work. That makes sense as why he came to South Hylton. Thomas Heatherington was related too so that links in with Alfred. Didnt know about Fred. Oh this is great news thank you so much!

Very kind regards
