Hi,

This appears to be the birth records.

George H Shuttleworth
q3 1927, Wolverhampton Vol 6b  Page 880

Kathleen Shuttleworth
q3 1927, Wolverhampton Vol 6b Page 879

Alice J Shuttleworth
q2 1924, Wolverhampton Vol 6b Page 972

All the above are recorded with a mother's name Shuttleworth  ???.

Could Joyce be Alice J?

Having looked at the marriage record for Joyce/Alice J Shuttleworth in 1945, Wolverhampton, her name is recorded as Alice J Shuttleworth  :)

Is there any more information you are able to give us please with regards to Joyce's parent's names?

If not you would need to purchase Joyce's birth certificate to progress further.

What area did they live in Wolverhampton? Loads of churches including on the borders. Have you got the area etc for the shuttleworth jenks marriage. Not posted it as don't know whether they are still living.

Hi,

The marriage I found was from Freebmd -

q1 1945, Wolverhampton, Vol 6b Page 1279

To find the father's name you would need to purchase the marriage certificate.

Hi
Assuming the family came from Wolverhampton. There are 2 households in 1911(from free Familysearch index).
George Shuttleworth 47 born Birmingham
Alice Mabel 45 wife born Wolverhampton
Harry 16 born Wolverhampton
Beatrice 15
Lillian 12
Cyril 11
George Edward 7
Olive 6
Zena 4
Ivy 2
The other
Arthur John  28 Wolverhampton
Emma  Ann 33 sister Wolverhampton
Looking at Emma's age and the name Alice in the first household,I'd say your Shuttleworths are descended from one of the daughters of the first  household -Beatrice,Lillian,Olive,Zena or Ivy.
Beatrice married a Fred Fowler Sep 1918
Lillian married Henry Brotherton Sep 1919
The other 3
Ivy married Edward Edwards Sep 1927
Zena married June 1934 John H. Howell
Olive married Sep 1946 Richard Green
So all  could be just about be single 1925-1927 and could be Joyce's mother.
On the 1901 census they are living in Maple Cottages Trysall Road ,Penn.George is a brass finisher.
Can't find their marriage Alice Mabel was born Roughley Dec 1865 Wolverhampton and married Alfred Henry Weston Dec 1885 Wolverhampton.Alice is already alone in 1891 with her daughter Annie age 9mths.There is no death for Alfred Henry Weston up to 1911.In fact it looks like Alfred Henry Weston dies in Dudley Dec 1928 age 63.
Sorry but you will need a birth certificate to find Joyce's mother.
