Will the REAL Alice Jane show up??

I have an interesting problem.  I found the death date of my ancestor Alice Jane Atherton Jackson.  I ordered her death certificate, and was Happy!  Then, while a friend was helping me find her father's
Father (Edward Atherton) he sent me information of what he thought was MY Alice Jane....but....her husband was listed as Richard Jackson (her husband is Thomas Garnett Jackson) and her son, W Jackson attended the death (she didn't have a son named "W") AND Richard Jackson was a Prison Officer (Thomas was a Butcher).  And this was the death certificate I had ordered!  I didn't even notice the husbands name (shame on me) I was just thrilled I had her death date!!

Here's what I DO know.  Alice Jane Atherton was born 13 Sep 1859 in Preston, Lancaster (I thought it was Lancashire) on Bold Street.  Her Mother:  Emma Fallowfield Joel, her Father:  John Atherton he was an engine railway driver.
The "not my" Alice Jane died 12 Dec 1933 - 36 Christopher's Road - Preston.  Is there any way to find another Alice Jane, with a husband named Thomas Garnett, and children named:  Edith, Alice, Agnes, John, and Arthur....any hope for me??

Thanks for any help!  I can't even remember where I got the death Cert from, but it's a certified copy (but I remember it was easy for me, from the US, to get this certificate, so thanks to them!)

Hi,

Your Alice lived all her married life in Lancaster not Preston so I think she will be the 89 year old Alice Jane Jackson who died Lancaster in 1948.  See www.lancashirebmd.org .

The GRO reference is Lancaster  December quarter 1948 volume 10c page 513.

According to  Lancashire online Parish clerk           John Atherton, Publican,  was the father of Alice Jane who married Thomas Garnett Jackson.
