Grave photo Sale cemetary - HAYMAN ref. N/459 **COMPLETED***
« on: Saturday 17 August 13 11:27 BST (UK) »
If anyone happens to be going to Sale cemetary and wouldnt mind taking a photo of my great-great grandfathers grave , I would be really grateful.
I have the info from deceasedonline, there are 5 people in the grave including Thomas Hayman who died in 1917, the grave number is N/459.

Many thanks.

Hi,
I'm sorry to tell you but there is no head stone on that grave.  :( I have the MI's for Sale cemetary and that number grave is listed as 'no head stone'. The fact that 5 other people ar buried there as well could indicate a common grave.

I was hopeful of a gravestone as all 5 in the grave were from the same family.
Its disappointing but I really appreciate the lookup - many thanks.
Best regards,
Matt

Hi,
Thanks for your interest and the confirmation about the grave.
The Thomas Hayman in the grave was born in 1834 but he had a son Thomas J. Hayman born in 1865, which might be the Thomas you mentioned. There was another branch of the family in Ashton also; children of an Aaron Hayman who was a cousin of my Thomas. I have the family back a few generations, which I can send to you if you would like to see it.

Best regards,
Matt

Hi Tony, that's great. Good to find someone tracing the same line.
Here is my line:

Thomas Hayman(1834 - 1917) = Ann Owen
Ann Hayman( 1804) = ?
Aaron Hayman ( 1770) = Ann Whitehead
Aaron Hayman ( 1717) = Alice Barlow(1737)

I have the actual marriages and baptisms, which I found online - can't remember now where from. If you haven't got them, send me a PM with an e-mail address and I will send them on.
Would be good to keep in touch and share our progress in finding the Haymans further back.
Regards,
Matt
