Bradford Wire Works, Manchester

My great grandfather Joe Saxton worked for the wireworks in the 1950s. Apparently he was a driller, although I don't know too much about his work. Could anybody who knows a bit about the place tell me about his work there? I already know everything else about him. If anyone has any information about him specifically, I'd be very grateful.
