The story of William and Ralph Standish, 1660-1720

This father and son team have an interesting story. They lived at Standish Hall near Wigan in the seventeenth century. William joined the Lancashire plot to restore James II and was then declared an outlaw with a reward of £500 for his capture. His son Ralph joined the Jacobite rebellion in 1715 and was taken prisoner after the battle of Preston. He spent 18 months in Newgate prison and from there wrote a series of letters to his mother.
I've put their story into a book which will be ready in another couple of weeks. Does anyone have any further background on William and Ralph Standish?
