James and Isabella PATON, m. 28/08/1866 Dunoon

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering whether anyone has any connection to, or descent from James PATON and Isabella DYSON, who married on 28/08/1866 in Dunoon, but thereafter moved to Glasgow, and died and were buried there in Janesfield Cemetery: James in 1914 and Isabella in 1925.  They had at least one child, James, and may have been in Edinburgh in the 1871 Census.  James PATON, b.circa 1838, was a clerk in what appears to be a ropemakers, if I have read his death certificate correctly...

Have just come in after an excellent day poking about in Suffolk, tracing my ancestral trails there, and now I read your splendid response to my hopeful query about matters up in Glasgow 130-odd years ago.  Thank you SO much for all this lovely detail, and it of course gives me some good new leads in my family research North of the Border (from my perspective...!)
