Fougow surname

Could anyone guess as to what the Fougow surname should actually be ? It would have been said in a Fife accent & I can`t find any reference to it . So I`m thinking it may be something which sounds similar & has been picked up wrongly . Any ideas would be welcome . Thanks , Graham .

Graham,  I think this might be Foggo or its varient Foggie.

Graham, what is the source of 'Fougow' that you are looking at?

Hi Monical , The details were provided to me by someone else . Everything else fitted in with the info I already had except for this new person whom I had no knowledge of . As the name may have been mis-spelled that would explain why I couldn`t find any further details . Thanks , Graham .
