Anthony Belt died in Royal Charter disaster

I am researching the family of Anthony Belt who died in the shipwreck of the Royal Charter off the coast of Dulas, Anglesey North Wales,

Anthony has a tomb in the churchyard of St Miahangel, Llanerchymedd, Anglesey. However his burial record shows him buried at Penrhoslligwy, Anglesey, about 5 miles away, which is where many of the unidentified bodies were buried.

Can anyone help me to find out what might have happened

Is he actually buried at St Miahangel, or is there just a memorial inscription on a family headstone?
Not unusual to add a memorium for someone buried elsewhere.

It is a large tomb dedicated to him. Anthony is from Newcastle upon Tyne and there were no other family members on Anglesey. I have no more information other that that found online. The present Belt family know of him but had no idea where he was buried

In July 1853 A B was shipped as third officer on the ill fated Bourneouf at Melbourne.  AB stayed at the helm when the ship was wrecked and was awarded the Shipwrecked Fishermans Gold Medal.

There is a lot more in the article which was printed  when the Royal Charter was lost.

Just found another article stating that A B was returning from Australia to comfort his father who had lost another son by drowning earlier that same year.

Just found some more.
The Newcastle Courant  November 4, 1859.

it states that Mr Belt of the Groat market, Newcastle had three sons out in Australia and another at home  who drowned while bathing at Ryton. The three other brothers drew lots to decide who should return home.

Thank you, I did find some newspaper reports after I received your reply, but didn't know about drawing lots. One of the brothers he was with in Australia would probably be Thomas Belt who later became a well known Naturalist.
