Ok so confusingly there is another Edward s Audley b1877 I think he appears on the 1881 census still alive then by the 1901 he has three kids - another link?

Edward and Lucy married in March qtr 1874.

Edward James born June qtr 1875

Death of Edward James (age 1) in June qtr 1876

Edward James (II) born March qtr 1877


It all seems to fit?
And that death is the only infant/child Audley death I can see in Yardley in the 1860's.

Of course it might all be coincidental, but looks good to me! ;D
