The Days in Swarby
« on: Saturday 07 September 13 07:12 BST (UK) »
Ann Day 1741 -1820 Swarby, I would like her maiden name if possible as Day is her married name, I do not know who she wed, obviously it was a Day, but who ?
I really would like any info on the whole family if possible , I have several John Days, Ann Days but not sure who is who . Any help at all please. The Ancestry is really not that clear on relatives of some of the above, found it all a bit confusing...I have an infant ,living at Crofton,John Day buried 28/8/1877, not sure who his parents are..

Thanks again.
John

Hi John,

How do you know this Ann Day is a Ancestor if you dont have her maiden name or Marriage to a Mr Day?

Who is your Ancestor who you think had a Mother Ann?

Usually one starts with a Ancestor;
Eg James DAY Christened 23 April 1770, parents James/Mary
You find all the Siblings
Parents possible Marriage just before 1st Christening of Children.
Parents Burials and hopefully a age is given.
Then you look for their Christenings.

Hello Trish, I am sorry that it has taken so long to get back to you, damn Talk Talk, ( I really do have to change supplier) My connection is with Eliza Day born in Swarby, I have her parents & their parents, there does seem to be a problem with the next generation though, I was given a mother of John Day( 14/2/1778) & her name was Ann born 1741, but that is that Trish, I do not have a father for John, which is where I started this thread.
Any ideas Trish..

John
