Grave for Ostlere, Nottingham
« on: Monday 09 September 13 11:40 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the burial place of Valentine Edward Xavier Ostlere. He was born in Aberdeen 1869 and was an actor in his early life. He married Emily Fraser who was a hair dresser in Nottingham from 1911 to 1937.
At the time of his death he lived at 28 Park Street, Nottingham. He died April 30 1925.

Any help with the name of the cemetery he is in would be gratefully received.

Hi Janie

You could try contacting the cemeteries department at Nottingham

Do you have his actual date of death?

Hi Tartan2

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

According to her profile, Janie52b hasn't been online here for a couple of months, but as long as her email address hasn't changed, she should receive a notification that you have posted and hopefully come back soon.

Hello Tartan2,

How are you related to Valentine Ostlere? His mother May Ostlere (Mary Jane Coutts) was my husband's great aunt. There is no headstone at the cemetery but I saw the space the grave occupies, it was bought by Valentine's wife. Regards, Jane

Hello
My Gt Grandfather is uncle to Mary Jane Coutts, making her my second cousin once removed. I am new to this site so as yet don't know if I can post a private message or not. I'll have a read and see
